late 1930's

This is picture from my great uncle taken around the late 1930s. On the back this was written: The engine is doing 1950 revoloutins per minute. So there is quite a wind. Enough to pull 10 ton of an airplane through the air at 200 miles per hour or better. We test the engine here to see if we put it together right. We see 50 or 60 gal. of gas per hour. (photographer unkown)

Picture taken 38 years ago when the world was a better place, D-BAKI still exists today and is apparently being used as a restaurant at AMS (any info welcome)...maybe someone can identify the airport?
