ZD950 These ex RAF Tristars all arrived by air in about 2014 and have been stored since. There was a possibility some years ago of them going to the USA for an American contract but I believe that contract fell through and the aircraft remain here stored and deteriorating (more of ZD950)

ZD953 ThisTriStar KC1, ex-G-BFCF of British AW, was the initial converted L-1011-500 by Marshall Aerospace in Cambridge and delivered to the Royal Air Force on 24 March 1986, becoming No. 216 Squadron's first TriStar. Shown here with the refueling device, which was offset to the right above the cockpit and made it possible to refuel from tanker to tanker. This device was later removed (more of ZD953)
