N747CK After quite a long time without heavy cargo aircrafts, Berlin's photographer community can be happy again. Today arrived a scheduled cargo flight from Adana/Turkey which was operated by Kalitta Air. Although this beast arrived with two hours of delay, I was the only one who got a chance to be this close because I hit from the airport security which is pretty strict in the cargo area. On thursday Kalitta Air gives us another pleasure with it's old Boeing 747-200F's! Exciting christmas present, isn't it?! (more of N747CK)

D-AKNT Getting a high quality tripod approximately one month ago, on my 18th birthday, I went out this cold day in order to shoot my very first night photos. Trying several settings and exposure times, I learned pretty fast. Finally, after two hours, I made my perfect night photo. I tried RAW/ISO100/300mm/f8 and 15 seconds as quite a long exposure time. Leaving me in breathtaking memories, this airport is now one of my favorites. A busy road, which is even a borderline between Spain and Great Britain, is crossing an active runway. That's indeed amazing!
